Caramel Chocolate Protein Shake

I never was really a protein shake kinda girl.  In fact... I have despised protein powder for as long as I can remember.  My older - ironically non-vegan - sister forced me to try Vega because she swore up and down that it was so dayyyuum delicious that I had to try it.  Game changer folks!  This makes such a quick, dense breakfast and its great for the days I know that I am having a high-carb dinner.  I can get a TON of protein and fiber in from this shake and it is SOOO filling from the fiber in the Medjool Dates that it will definitly have you high energy through until lunch.  WIN!

Caramel Protein Chocolate Shake

CARAMEL CHOCOLATE PROTEIN SHAKE

  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 2 Pitted Medjool Dates
  • 1 scoop Chocolate Vega Protein Powder
  • 1 1/2 cups of Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

In a high powered blender (I use a Ninja) combine all ingredients on a high powered setting (this is because of the Medjool Dates).  VOILA!  Breakfast is done.

The dates leave delicious, chewy remnants that taste like caramel and add 6g of fiber to this already high fiber shake (there is 7g in the Vega Powder wooohooo!!!) without adding any fat.  BOOM!  But... if you want to save the calories, this shake is also so delicious keeping it simple with the naners, Vega and the Vanilla Almond Milk.
